The BPCC Theatre and The Cavalier Players are excited to announce their upcoming production of Murder at The Howard Johnson's, a light-hearted suspense comedy by Ron Clark and Sam Bobrick. The show will run from August 16 to August 25, 2024, in the Stephen W. Slaughter Theatre in Building C on the BPCC campus, 6220 East Texas Street, Bossier City, LA.
The show will also travel to Michigan City, Indiana for special performances at the Canterbury Summer Theatre on August 1-3.
Murder at the Howard Johnson's asks the timeless question: Is all fair in love, even murder? Set in a Howard Johnson Motor Inn, this witty and entertaining play features a love triangle involving a woman, her lover, and her husband, each of whom hatches a murder plot. As the schemes unfold, the audience is taken on a hilarious journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected outcomes.
"The humor and suspense in this play make it a delightful experience for audiences of all ages," said Ray Scott Crawford, the director of the production. "It's a perfect blend of comedy and intrigue, and we are thrilled to bring it to our community."
The cast includes Blaine Fultz, Lily Coe, and Brody Hines, who bring to life the zany characters and the quirky dynamics of the love triangle. The stage management will be handled by Mikayla Hicks, with Meredith Treece serving as the assistant stage manager.
