Learning Commons Online
Online Students
This guide for online and distance-learning students is specifically designed for students who are enrolled in one or more online classes at BPCC. It directs students to all of the resources the learning commons has to support students in their studies and teaches them how to most effectively use those resources. This guide contains a module on effective research strategies.
Off-Campus Access
Access to the learning commons catalog and to databases is available for students working off-campus. You will find directions on how to access these materials.
Video Tutorials
Video Tutorials are available for all learning commons tools and many databases. They may also be accessed through the Subject Guides.
Databases
All of the learning commons’ databases are available online and accessible anywhere. You will find a list of our databases by subject along with a complete A to Z list.
E-Books
The learning commons has a growing collection of e-books which are specifically chosen to support our curriculum.
