A message from the Dean
Welcome to the Division of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences! Our division houses a variety of programs, from shorter-term certificates to associate degrees. We offer associate degrees in Criminal Justice, Teaching (Grades 1-5), Communication Media, Performing Arts, and General Studies. We also offer the Louisiana Transfer degree, with pathways in Arts, Humanities, Mass Communication, and Social Sciences. Our certificates range from Photography to Theatre, from Corrections to Graphic Design.
Though our disciplines and timelines are varied, AHSS is unified by our mission to provide a quality education to every student. As such, our classes, labs, and productions are alive with opportunities to explore, connect, and create. We invite you to visit, tour our facilities, and find the path that’s right for you.
