BPCC HOSTS DRUG AWARENESS SPEAKER MONDAY, SEPT 24

Horace Spratley, BPCC Criminal Justice instructor and former narcotics officer, will present a drug awareness presentation entitled, “The Street Narc,” at 12:00 pm on Monday, September 24 in the Theatre (Building C) on the BPCC campus, 6220 E. Texas St., Bossier City, LA.This event is free and open to the students, faculty, staff, and the public.

Spratley is a law enforcement veteran with nearly 20 years’ experience in patrol, special operations, SWAT, and narcotics investigations, and served as Vice-President of his DEA training class. An expert marksman, Spratley has achieved the highest level of SWAT-Level III. He has won numerous awards including Officer of the Year and is now a criminal justice instructor at BPCC. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in criminal justice with an emphasis on Homeland Security.

Spratley’s presentation will focus on what working 18 years undercover has taught him about America’s drug problem.
