If you're taking classes at BPCC but attend another college, here’s how to register — especially if a course requires a prerequisite. 

• If the course needs a prerequisite: 
  • Fill out the Override Request Form. 
  • Complete one form for each course you're trying to register for. 
  • If you're approved, you’ll get an email letting you know you can sign up. 
• Not sure if your past courses meet the requirement? 
  • Check the Course Equivalency Guide to find out. 
• If the course doesn’t have a prerequisite or placement score: 
  • Once your admission application is processed, you should be able to register right away — no extra steps needed. 

Appointments are not required, but they are strongly encouraged — especially for first-time students or anyone who needs help choosing classes, understanding degree requirements, or planning next steps.
