Ms. BPCC Responsibilities and Obligations
- Participate in the planning and implementation of Cavalier Connection New Student Orientation and act as the hostess for all orientation sessions
- Prepare display board for Student Organizations Fair each semester
- Attend the annual BPCC/Bossier City Christmas program and participate in the annual Bossier Christmas parade
- Participate in the Cavalier Express Student Recruitment Team by attending the summer retreat, meetings when held and 3 recruiting events per semester
- Attend a minimum of 3 athletic events per year (baseball, basketball or softball)
- Provide a minimum of 10 hours of community service per fall and spring semesters to be coordinated with the Director of Student Life (Visiting local elementary schools and reading to classes, visiting local hospitals/nursing homes at holiday time)
- Attend Bossier Parish high school pageants and local area pageants (Airline, Bossier, Parkway, Haughton, Benton, Miss Holiday in Dixie, Miss River Cities, Miss Bossier City, Miss Shreveport, Miss Minden)
- Assist with all Student Life events and attend Fall and Spring Family Fests
- Present awards/scholarships at area high schools
- Mentor the upcoming Ms. BPCC by attending the initial meeting with contestants, the interviews, the pageant rehearsal and the Pageant
- Prepare farewell speech for pageant
- Additional duties as needed
