We are diverse members of the Northwest Louisiana community, dedicated to singing and giving back to the community through performing a variety of spirited sounds of gospel and contemporary music. Mission

The mission of the Bossier Parish Community College Gospel Choir (BGC) is to promote diverse music experiences and give back to the community through the ministry of gospel, contemporary music, and community service. The BPCC Gospel Choir repertoire consists of spirituals, traditional, anthems, contemporary, jazz, African-American gospel music, rhythmic expressions, and fellowship. The BGC members who participate in this ensemble span all age groups, ethnicities, and faiths. The gospel choir is also a recruitment arm of the college. The gospel choir is a student organization in the Office of Student Life and is not an official ensemble of the Music Department.

Membership Requirements

  • Auditions are held during the fall or spring semester
  • Must be enrolled at Bossier Parish Community College full-time (12 credit hours)
  • Must maintain at least a 2.0 Cumulative GPA
  • Must complete a BPCC College Student Life Scholarship ApplicationPDF File
