BPCC Third Party Award
Bossier Parish Community College accepts "third party financial aid" which are presented to the College in the common form of a business and industry agreement with an employee for tuition reimbursement. These agreements serve as a method of payment for students. To be eligible for third party financial aid, students must present a letter from an employer/agency on company letterhead stating the company will pay a bill from Bossier Parish Community College for tuition and fees. The company will be billed at the beginning of the semester, unless otherwise specified by the company, for the balance on a student's account. At this time, Bossier Parish Community College does not accept letters from employers with stipulations about which tuition and fees will be paid. For questions about BPCC's company tuition reimbursement policy, Human Resources Directors are encouraged to contact Ms. Vicki Temple, Director of Financial Aid, at vtemple@bpcc.edu or 318-678-6349.
GO Grant
The Louisiana GO Grant is a need-based financial aid program aimed at making college more affordable for students from moderate- and low-income families. Louisiana resident students who are eligible for and receive the federal Pell Grant are eligible for a Go Grant. The grant helps cover the difference between the actual cost of attending a public or a private college in Louisiana and the amount of a student's Pell Grant award. First-time freshman and adults aged 25 or older who have been out of school for at least one year are eligible beginning in Fall 2008.
The Go Grant award for full-time students is $2,000 per academic year. Eligible part-time students may receive up to $1,000 per year. For more information and eligibility requirements, contact the BPCC financial aid office at 318-678-6026 or visit www.goformorela.org.![]()
