Interlibrary Loan Request Form

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is essentially lending between libraries. For library users, it equates to access to material at other libraries without visiting those libraries. ILL is available only for BPCC faculty staff and students. ILL request must be made for items the BPCC Library does not own. To send a request, complete and submit the form below or contact the Library at 318-678-6331.

WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS

The Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproduction restrictions of copyrighted material.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be used for any reproduction purposes in excess of "fair use." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use", that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order "if in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law."

Occasionally, some libraries charge a fee for lending certain materials. The Library will attempt to obtain interlibrary loan materials at no cost to you. However, of you would like us to get the materials you request, even if a fee is involved, please enter the maximum cost you are willing to pay. (Leave the $0 if you don't wish to be charged a fee.)

In any event, you are still responsible for return of materials on time. Failure to do so will result in overdue fines and/or replacement charges.

I authorize BPCC Library to obtain for me the above materials and agree to pay all charges involved.
