The art courses offered at BPCC include art historical surveys and both two and three-dimensional studio courses. Collage of three paintingsThe training by Art Department faculty incorporates knowledge and experience in traditional and contemporary works of art. Courses are offered on campus and via online instruction. A variety of visual platforms and new technology is incorporated into the classroom environment so that students can access up-to-the-minute developments within the field. When possible, field trips are made to expand on classroom learning in a way that makes a connection to the local arts community.

Savoir Faire, a bi-annual literary and visual arts publication of student works presents a unique opportunity for art students to showcase their work.
