SkillsUSAŽ Talent Scholarships

Bossier Parish Community College may award full-tuition scholarships to gold, silver, and bronze medalists in the National SkillsUSA® competition. These scholarships are available to new or continuing BPCC students. Partial tuition scholarships may be awarded to the gold medal winners in the State's Secondary SkillsUSA® competition.

Requirements/Eligibility:

  • Recipients must enter an eligible BPCC Career and Technical Education program within 12 months of their high school graduation date.
  • Recipients must have at least a 2.0 high school or college cumulative grade point average to receive the scholarship.
  • Recipients who maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average and remain in good standing with the College may receive the award for up to four semesters. Recipients must apply each semester.
  • Recipients must be full-time students and continue to participate in the SkillsUSA® competition representing BPCC at the post-secondary level.

The number of SkillsUSA® Talent Scholarships will be based on budget availability. The deadline for submitting an application is August 1 (Fall) or December 1 (Spring).
