Program for Successful Employment I

PSE I is a two-year Pre- Employment Transition training program for students ages 17 to 21 with Cognitive Disabilities and/or Autism. The program combines academic and job skills training on BPCCs campus with externship opportunities in regional businesses. Our goal is to provide an innovative post-secondary program for students with cognitive disabilities and Autism that promotes lifelong skills which enhance employability as well as becoming a productive citizen in the community.

Program for Successful Employment II

PSE II is a unique post-secondary Comprehensive Transition Program for students ages 18 and up with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism. This is a two-year program designed to provide students the opportunity to attend BPCC, participate in campus wide events, join student organizations, and build relationships with his/her peers. There are two pathways for the PSE II program. The Career Pathway and the Traditional Academic Pathway. This program combines academic and job skills training on BPCC’s campus with externship opportunities in regional businesses. Our goal is to provide customized vocational training and/or assistance while working to earn a degree or certificate in a field of the student’s interests and strengths that will lead to gainful employment.

Program Information

  • New classes begin each Fall and Spring semesters.
  • Classes are limited to 10 - 15 students.
  • New classes will open with demand.
