Project MOMs - Mothers On the Move

Dela JeterBossier Parish Community College’s MOMs Program helps to break the cycle of dependence on public assistance.  Its primary goal is to assist welfare mothers and other females living in subsidized housing by giving them opportunities to further their education and thus secure a better future for themselves and their children.

Project MOMs arranges for and provides services to assist you with your educational goals.  In cooperation with Bossier Parish Community College Programs and other agencies, we can arrange the following:

  • Assessment for GED Preparatory classes.
  • Transportation.
  • Childcare.
  • Tutoring.
  • Mentoring.
  • Remediation in reading, writing, and math.
  • English as a second language assistance.
  • Career Counseling.

Classes are offered on and off campus Free of charge:

At BPCC
Monday – Friday
8:00 – 11:00 a.m.
12:00 – 2:30 p.m.

Monday – Thursday
5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

In Cullen:
Monday – Friday
at various times.
