Who can sign up for Open Campus™ classes?

Anyone with internet access can sign up. You do not have to be a BPCC student (or any other student) to take this course.

Does this mean I am now a BPCC student?

No, BPCC requires that you complete an application form to be eligible for "for-credit" courses.

May I sign up for more than one Open Campus™ course at one time?

Yes, you may enroll in any "Open Campus™" course. But, math and English courses typically build upon one another so that you may want to start with the lowest numbered course for that subject and follow courses in order.

Will I receive credit for this class?

No, but this course may help you prepare for placement testing.

Do I have to finish what I’ve started?

No, "Open Campus™" is designed to close your account after 90 days of inactivity. You can certainly re-enroll if your time has expired, but any quiz scores will be deleted.

Do I have to follow the Learning Modules in order?

No, however, you may not understand later modules without the information offered in earlier modules.

Do I have to complete the quizzes?

No, but they are designed to help you measure your knowledge; while you may complete the quizzes as many times as you wish, nothing is mandatory in this course.

Open Campus™ courses are non-credit reviews and tutorials and cannot be used to satisfy requirements in any curriculum at Bossier Parish Community College.
