Information for Associate Degree Candidates

Congratulations on your pending graduation from Bossier Parish Community College!

In order to graduate, you must satisfy all curricular, procedural, academic, and financial obligations to the College. The graduation fee of $25.00 has now been added to your account. If you have not paid the fee, you may now do so by going to your online LoLA account or to the Business Office located in Building F. To graduate, your financial account must be paid in full by December 7, 2012.

Here are some important dates and information for you to remember:

You may contact the BPCC BookstoreWill open new browser window or tabat 318-678-6009 for information regarding the purchase of graduation announcements and regalia, including the cap and the gown for the graduation ceremony.

November 27 – December 3, 2012: Final examinations for graduating students are to be given.

Please notify your instructors that you are planning to graduate this semester. Grades for graduates are due to the Registrar’s Office by noon on December 4, 2012.

November 29, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Graduation Checkout in G-319

As an associate degree graduate, the College values the knowledge you have received as you embark on the next phase of your life. Thus, BPCC would like for you to complete the Graduation Survey and an assessment of general education knowledge which will take about forty-five minutes. The information the College will gain from these evaluations is necessary for the College’s accreditation and will give the College the opportunity to improve programs and better serve the students. In appreciation for your contribution, each participant will receive a maroon recreational chair with a BPCC imprint in a carrying bag.

December 14, 2012: Bossier Parish Community College 2012 Fall Commencement. Graduation will be held at the Health and Physical Education Complex.


9:30 a.m. Credentials within the divisions of

  • Science, Nursing, and Allied Health
  • Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics

Graduates should arrive by 8:45 a.m. for the 9:30 a.m. ceremony.


2:30 p.m. Credentials within all other academic divisions

  • Behavioral and Social Sciences
  • Business
  • Communication and Performing Arts
  • Liberal Arts

Graduates should arrive by 1:45 p.m. for the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
