Established by the men and women of the Bossier City Marshal Office Emergency Communications Group
For two decades, Marshal Johnny G. Wyatt set the standard in law enforcement for the Caddo-Bossier Community, the region, and the State of Louisiana in the area of marshal operations for communities large and small. In addition, his dedication to protecting the youth of our community through the establishment of the Northwest Louisiana Internet Crimes against Children Task Force has brought national recognition to the Bossier City Marshal Office concerning efforts to stop cyber crimes.
Purpose of the scholarship: To support BPCC criminal justice or cyber technology students.
Number of scholarships to be awarded: One to two scholarships will be awarded each year.
Award Amount: Up to $1,000 - full time (>=12 hrs.) and $500 - part time (6-11 hrs.)
Criteria for applicants:
For consideration, applicants must complete the Johnny Wyatt Scholarship Application and submit all supporting documentation to the BPCC Foundation, Inc. before the fall or spring application deadlines (spring deadline - Dec. 15 and fall deadline – July 15)
