Three Ways to Give
Dear fellow Cavaliers,
In my first year as your Chancellor, I have seen the pure commitment that you have for our extraordinary college and I could not be prouder to be with you on this journey. Bossier Parish Community College is poised to take a significant leap toward our vision to become the premiere two-year college in the nation. While we have achieved a great deal… we also have much to do.
All of the success we have enjoyed as a college is borne from the professionalism, the purpose, and the passion of our faculty, staff and administrators. I believe that as Cavaliers, we do not work at BPCC… instead we work for an idea—that we exist to be a beacon of hope and opportunity and to provide unparalleled, world-class service to those who choose to share their journey with us.
Today, BPCC is in a unique position. We have had tremendous success with our historic, trend-setting capital campaign. At the same time, we are embarking on a new focus to build scholarship endowments that will ensure that we can continue to provide critical access to students for many years to come.
You are already an active participant in shaping the future of our students… but I invite you to join with me, co-chairs Carolyn Burroughs and Mike May, and your team captains to support the 2016 Family Campaign and the BPCC Scholarship Endowment. By demonstrating our commitment to student scholarships, we show the rest of our community that we are willing to go above and beyond and we challenge them to join us in ensuring a bright future for others.
Let's work together to light up a life and illuminate the possibilities for current and future generations of students attending Bossier Parish Community College.
Thank you and take good care. Go Cavs!
When the campus reaches 100% participation, he will sing Debbie Boone’s version of “You Light Up My Life” in front of everyone!
Carolyn Burroughs will too!
