The mission of the Division of Cyber Information Technology is to provide quality education in the classroom to Northwest Louisiana citizens in the disciplines of computer information systems, help desk support, programmer-analyst, networking, network security, systems administration, and web analyst programmer to enable our students to be successful when working with cyberspace technology.
Bossier City, Louisiana, has become home to the Cyber Innovation Center (CIC) and National Cyber Research Park (NCRP). Their mission is to support cyber initiatives by promoting research, educational and technological innovation, and by forming strategic alliances among government agencies, academic institutions and private industries.
Beginning Spring 2009 Bossier Parish Community College launched its much anticipated Cyber Information Technology course curriculum. The curriculum consists of six Associate of Applied Science degrees and one Certificate of Technical Studies.
