Certificate of Technical Studies in Theatre

Learning Outcomes:

Recipients of the Certificate of Technical Studies in Theatre will have demonstrated:

  1. comprehension of basic theories, practices, and techniques used in theatre;
  2. proficiency in performance abilities, specific technical skills, or management situations; and
  3. comprehension of audition and job interview skills.

Students must meet prerequisites before taking any given course.
     
Students must make a “C” or higher in all courses which satisfy graduation requirements in order to receive the Certificate of Technical Studies in Theatre from BPCC.
     
Students must meet the general education competencies for the academic certificate.
     
*The student must take a minimum of 21 hours from the following approved electives within theatre: THTR113, 114, 116, 120, 153, 154, 156, 157, 158, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216, 220, 221, 232, 255, 256, 257, 260
