The Division of Business offers the Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration and the Associate of Science in Health Care Management. The Division offers Certificates of Technical Studies in Culinary Arts and Legal Secretary. Technical Competency Areas include Basic Management, Bookkeeping, and Business Communications.

The Division of Business offers the Associate of Applied Science in Business Administrations and the Associate of Science in Health Care Management.
The associate degree programs prepare graduates for jobs in these professional areas; prepare students to make informed career path decisions while developing workplace skills necessary to succeed; provide students the opportunity to earn academic college credits for transfer to four-year institutions of higher education; and provide the technical and general education necessary for qualified entrance into management, sales, office-related and computer-related occupations.

The Division offers two Certificates of Technical Studies that enable students to develop their academic and vocational skills to compete in a technological society. Certificates of Technical Studies are one-year programs that prepare students for job-specific skills. The Certificates of Technical Studies offered through the Division of Business are Culinary Arts and Legal Secretary.

The mission of the Division of Business at Bossier Parish Community College is to provide an outstanding faculty and educational facility to foster a creative environment for collaborative learning and innovative thinking for the citizens of Northwest Louisiana. We will impart excellent instruction in the areas of accounting, business administration, culinary arts, economics, health care management, legal secretary, management, and marketing, Our division will be at the forefront of technology, business and culinary arts to prepare our students to succeed in a dynamic world, and we will serve our community through cooperative partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
Up to 18 hours may be awarded to a student who successfully passes the Certified Professional Secretary examination and certified Administrative Professional examinations, which are administered by the International Association of Administrative Professionals.
