- Service Learning/Interdisciplinary Studies (3-3-0)
This course examines learning and career exploration in the context of service and
community involvement. Students will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of service for the “common good,” analyze the setting in which service takes place, and
actively participate in a community service setting for a minimum of two hours a week. Students will gain hands on knowledge, skills, and civic responsibility in a community
setting. The purpose of this course is to prepare students for a lifetime of engaged,
responsible and active community involvement and leadership.
