Twelve (12) Separate Concentrations
There are twelve concentrations in Telecommunications: Broadcasting, Business of Makeup, Business of Music, Computer Animation, Film, Fine Art Photography, Graphic Design, Media for the Ministry, Photography, Radio, Sound Recording Technology, and TV Production. Recipients of the degree in the Associate of Applied Science in Telecommunications will have demonstrated:

Students must meet prerequisites before taking any given course.
Students must make a "C" or higher in all courses which satisfy graduation requirements in order to receive the Associate of Applied Science in Telecommunications from BPCC.
*Science elective must be chosen from BLGY 105, BLGY 106, or BLGY 113; METR 101; PHSC 105 or PHSC 106; SCI 101; BLGY 110.
**Behavioral/Social Sciences elective must be chosen from GPHY 101 or GPHY 102; SLGY 201; POSC 201 or PSYC 201.
***Humanities elective must be chosen from FREN 101; HIST 101 or HIST 102; HMAN 201 or HMAN 202; RLGN 201 or RLGN 202; SPAN 101, SPAN 102 or SPAN 201 or THTR 101.
1Portfolio: A portfolio is designed to show your skills and abilities, as well as document the quality of your training and educational experiences. You will need to establish the quality of your work, level of expertise and credibility. The portfolio contains real examples of the type of work you have done and indicates the type you can do in the future. Each semester, additional samples of the projects that you complete in class will be added to the portfolio.
