The primary goal of the MOMs program is to assist mothers and other females living in subsidized housing by giving them the opportunity to further their education and to secure a better future of their children and themselves. Bossier Parish Community college provides support for the MOMs population through career counseling; pre-GED classes; remedial writing, reading, and math skills training; and English as a second language programs. Project MOMs also provides supportive services such as childcare and transportation assistance for those who qualify.
