Audacity is an audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, and GNU/Linux. You can use Audacity to; Record live audio; Cut, Copy and Paste, Delete, Duplicate, and Split audio files; Change the speed, pitch or volume of a recording; Apply effects to any part of the sound; Align audio segments. Using Audacity you can build podcasts episodes for Blackboard or just make them available from any webpage or distribute them by email or CD.

Softchalk Lesson Builder is a powerful web lesson editor that lets you easily create engaging, interactive web lessons for your e-learning classroom. You can create interactive web pages such as Crossword Puzzles, Flash Cards, and Seek-A-Word, just to name a few. Softchalk files can be converted to several different video formats, such as wmv and Flash files. Softchalk lessons and activities can be imported into Blackboard or just make them available from any webpage or distribute them by email or CD.
Camtasia Studio includes the Camtasia Screen Recorder and SnagIt Screen Capture programs - record your screen with audio, webcam video, and more to create video presentations, video training, and online video lectures. Camtasia presentations and SnagIt graphics can be can be imported into Blackboard or just make them available from any webpage or distribute them by email or CD.
