On November 9, 2010, Barksdale Base Education Office representative James Merryman and Chancellor Henderson signed a Memorandum of Understanding to allow Bossier Parish Community College to offer courses leading to certifications in an office on Barksdale base. These classes are offered through the Division of Cyber Information Technology and began in spring 2011. In addition, Bossier Parish Community College will also man a national testing center for airmen in collaboration with the college’s Testing Center.
ATTENTION: Once you have submitted paperwork you MUST click on this link and select the class(es) you will be taking. Failure to do so will result in your not being enrolled in the proper course.
RETURNING STUDENTS: You do not need to resubmit the application, but you must have the new courses added to your blue VA form or your TA. Please resubmit those forms with the new classes on them, or see Susan Stakes in Veterans Affairs to have the new course added to your existing VA form. You then MUST make the selection from the COURSE SELECTION link above or you will not be enrolled in the course.
