What documents do I need to provide for admissions?

What admissions documents am I missing?
To find out what documents you are missing, please complete the following steps:

Login to LOLA

Click on Bossier Parish Community College in the Self Service box

Click on the Student tab

Click on Admissions

Under Processed Applications click on the Admissions Term you applied to see your application summary

At the bottom of the Admissions Summary you will see a list of required documents. Please follow up on all items that do not have a received date.
Who is processing my admissions paperwork?
Please go to the Ask My Admissions Counselor page to learn which counselor has been assigned to your record.
Can I fax my missing documents to BPCC?
Yes, you may. However, it is best to either scan the documents and email them to admissions@bpcc.edu or send in the originals by mail or in person. Our fax number is 318-678-6390.
We will accept the following documents by fax or email:
- Immunization Records
- Selective Service Registration
- GED Scores
- ACT Scores
- SAT Scores
Do I need to take a placement test?
A placement test is not required, but highly recommended if you have not provided BPCC your ACT or SAT scores. You can find out the latest information about our testing schedule at Placement Testing page.
I am having trouble registering for a course. How can I register for this course?
Please contact your academic advisor or the division office about the course you want to take to have them enroll you into the course. A list of our academic departments may be found at the Departmantal Directory page.

What are the maximum hours I can take?
21 hours in the fall, spring, or summer
How can I calculate an estimated grade point average?
- Under Student Records click on Unofficial Transcript
- Make a note of your cumulative quality hours (QHRS) and your cumulative quality points (QPTS)
- Go to our GPA Calculator.

Enter your cumulative quality hours (QHRS) and your cumulative quality points (QPTS)
- “Enter Quality Hours Currently Enrolled For”
- Click the “Calculate” button
- Continue steps 6 and 7 until the desired GPA is reached
